I received this book in exchange for an honest review

The Immortal Game - Joannah Miley

I loved this book for numerous reasons and as it was almost flawless in its delivery i am giving it 5 stars.

This book taught me a lot about the Greek Gods. Don't get me wrong i knew a bit about a few of them, but not as much as was in this book, and i really enjoyed finding out more.

Ruby is a strong character, who is quite happy to pull up her big girl panties and travel into the depths of the underworld for love, and righteousness.

Ash is a strong character, but not in that possessive over bearing way some characters tend to go.

There is no real bad guy in this book, other than Zeus being a d*ck and Hades being Hades.

I am looking forward to book 2 and hopefully finding out what happened with Mark as he seemed to just get lost in the story.

Would totally recommend.

Not you typical fairy tales

The Grimm Diaries Prequels Volume 1- 6: Snow White Blood Red, Ashes to Ashes & Cinder to Cinder, Beauty Never Dies, Ladle Rat Rotten Hut, Mary Mary Quite Contrary, Blood Apples - Danielle Littig, Cameron Jace

This was an interesting collection of prequels that gave just enough information to make you want to keep reading. It is also a nice take on Snow White not being the good guy, and the 'evil' queen possibly not being as evil as she usually seems.

Am definitely going to look into reading the series. Would recommend.

A great follow up

A Dragon Forsaken (The Enchanted Island Series) - 'Krystal McLaughlin', 'Krystal George'

This is the second book in the series and focuses on Daphne the Dragon and her mission to find adoptive sister Anna. This book contained some very hearted breaking moments and some very sweet moments.

This was a fantastic book and the only downsides were a few errors that should have been picked by a proof reader and the constant use of the word drug instead of dragged.

All in all a fantastic second book in the series. Would totally recommend.

A wicked page turner.

The Witches Lottery (Enchanted Island Series) (Volume 1) - 'Krystal George', 'Krystal McLaughlin'

This was a super fun, fast paced read, that kept me turning pages so fats that if it had been a paper book the pages would have been singed.

Sophia is a totally believable character, who is suffering through the loss of her parents, so doesn't really pick on when grief turns into weird symptoms.

Witches, warlocks, leprechauns and the inevitable evil makes this a great read.

And i had my suspicions about the bad guy, but that ending pulled the rug out from under me. I love a good book with a good twist and this book fit that perfectly. Recommend to all.
